The Last Week in December is based during one of the most difficult times of year for many people: the week ranging from December 24th and January 1st. Last Week focuses on a young man (Julian) whose Grandmother has died of cancer. As he was raised by her alone, and has lived with her his entire life, the transition is monumental but not for obvious reasons. He doesn't seem to mourn for her and because of this there is much consternation demonstrated by his friends and the people supporting him. Julian¡¦s most difficult issue is the transition of moving out of the house where he has lived all his life. The Last Week in December¡¨ is filled with fantastic supporting characters which add tremendous color to this holiday play. With 2/3 comedy and 1/3 drama, The Last Week in December offers a unique perspective and pure entertainment based on lives of people with disabilities.
