Wendy has many years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. With a Bachelors degree in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin, she has worked for agencies such as Chileda Institute, RFDF, and Integrated Developmental Services.

Wendy’s experience as a human service professional along with her passion for theatre which focuses on social action, made her a perfect fit for Encore. She was hired 2003 as a direct support professional, but quickly jumped at the opportunity to act, direct and eventually co-author several Encore plays. Wendy was quickly promoted to the position of Program Coordinator in 2004 and took the position of Program Director in 2006.
